[Sal] – Ah, okay, everything’s good, okay. 

All right, hi everyone. 

This is Sal, I’m from Oz Resumes. 

Just got an awesome client here who’s a recent graduate in HR and management from Curtin uni. She’s recently been offered a job in her field in HR after only working I think four weeks with us. 

So Nurul, yes, tell us more about yourself. 

[Nurul]- Hi Sal, I’m Nurul and I’m originally from Singapore. 

I recently completed my Bachelors of Commerce majoring in HR and Management. 

I was recommended to Sal from Oz Resumes by my cousin who is an engineer who also went through the same coaching with Sal. 

So I started the coaching program with Oz Resumes on the 10th of December and today is the fourth of Jan and I got the job offer. 

[Sal] – Yup, cool. 

[Nurul] – That’s 25 days or just under four weeks for a job offer. 

[Sal] – Awesome.

[Nurul] – In the first week, I had one email from a recruiter one call from company and a face to face interview and interview with another HR company, all from different companies. 

[Sal] – Yep

[Nurul] – Yep. 

I’m currently offered an HR role and being offered about 45k per year. I’m on a PR VISA but I’m on a work-related VISA. 

[Sal] – Oh so you’re not on PR but you’re currently like on a graduate VISA kind of thing? 

Is that correct? 

Yeah Cool. 

[Nurul] – Yeah. 

[Sal] – Alright so just not to mislead anyone, everything like this, there was some work involved, I mean it’s not like a one-hit kill kinda thing that you are gonna get a job so could you tell us more about what was the work involved to get those interviews and the job offer? 

[Nurul] – Yep, I had to send out quite a fair bit of applications daily, but it was to a certain targeted audience which got me the right kind of attention for the interviews and offers. It’s not a walk in the park and there was work involved but it was definitely worth it. 

[Sal] – Awesome, well thanks Nurul for your time, it was a pleasure coaching you and having you on the program.
